Cath Bore is a writer of fiction and fact based on Merseyside. Her flash fiction can be found, amongst other places, in National Flash Fiction Day anthologies 2014 and 2015. Her fiction has been placed in York’s Festival of Writing’s First Chapter Competition, Writing on The Wall’s Pulp Idol, and Harrogate International Crime Writing Festival’s Dragon’s Pen. She is currently completing a crime novel, The Bad Friend, which won her a place in the initial stage of Penguin/Random House’s Write Now 2017 initiative.
She has an MA in Creative Writing from Liverpool John Moores University.
Non-fiction wise, Cath writes about feminism, fandom and music for a number of publications. In addition, she presents and produces radio programmes in Liverpool, and is on The Panel at talk station Radio City Talk.
